MFA Candidate: Media Arts

Katie Morrish is a graduate student working toward a MFA in Media Arts, harboring a keen desire to combine an interest and skill in the physics and biology of living systems with 3D animation to bring greater realism to challenging CGI art projects. This interest in biomechanics ranges from Missoula’s own Ethologist Fairy Shrimp to prehistoric giants such as the Gorgosaurus. Katie is su-purr-vised by two cats whose only interest in biomechanics is using their forepaws to press the power button on the laptop.
