Willow Lanchester

Lanchester received her Associates of Art degree from Tyler Junior College in 2017 and graduated with her BFA from the University of Texas at Tyler in the spring of 2020. Lanchester has exhibited work nationally and is a member of a four part collective of women ceramic artists called the Art School Girls (ASGs) comprised of Jessica Sanders, Lilah Shepherd, Joanna Gifford, and Willow Lanchester. From 2018 to 2020 Lanchester worked as a studio assisant at Pine Mills Pottery.

Lanchester assimilates themes from her life through abstractions of the human body, which in her current work she explores ideas of tension, waiting, moments of stillness, and of isolation. She is currently interested in exploring the space between self and experience.
